# Secondary Verification Instruction Guide for EDU License

{% hint style="warning" %}
Only **certified educational institution's e-mail suffix** can pass through the verification port. Email addresses that end with ‘.edu’ are typically associated with educational institutions. If you do not have an 'edu' email address, you can use your school official email for the application, which usually suffixes with your school's name. Gmail, hotmail etc. emails are not approved for the application of educational licenses now.

Please choose the next steps according to your own situation.
{% endhint %}

## Do have educational institution's email

Please sign up a new D5 account with your edu address. And then apply for EDU license again. You can sign up directly in D5 Client or [Myspace](https://myspace.d5render.com/login). Here is a tutorial on how to apply for EDU license, please refer to: [Education Version FAQs | User Manual (d5render.com)](https://docs.d5render.com/d5-account-and-purchase/education-version-faqs)

## Do not have educational institution's email

We offer two alternative methods for verification in the case that there is no educational email address available at your school:

* Group Application
* Individual Application

#### Group Application

Teachers, university IT staff, or campus ambassadors can submit a group application to help students access the D5 EDU license more efficiently. Once verified, eligible accounts will be added to our whitelist for quick activation.

To apply, please upload:

* A list of student/teacher university emails (must be registered D5 accounts)
* An official letter on university letterhead confirming the request

We’ll review your submission within 7 business days and contact you via **your EDU email**. Please ensure the email is correct and able to receive messages.

📌 Note:

The EDU License is tied to a single computer and **cannot be unbound** due to hardware changes.
