In Revit, D5 Lite reads the lights from native Lighting Fixture families and provides an independent light panel in the Lite toolbar for adjusting light rendering. After you place a Lighting Fixture in Revit, Lite automatically recognizes its light type and displays adjustable parameters in the light panel.
Lite automatically maps the light shape in Revit Lighting Fixture families to five Lite light types: Point Light, Spot Light, Strip Light, Rectangle Light, and Disc Light. On first recognition, Lite reads the initial intensity, color, and color temperature from the Revit light; after that, light parameters are adjusted independently in Lite's light panel and do not write back to Revit.
Click the light button in the Lite toolbar to open the light panel. After selecting a Lighting Fixture in the Revit viewport, the light panel shows its corresponding Lite light parameters. Adjustable parameters include: intensity, color or color temperature (toggle between the two); Spot Lights also support cone angle adjustment. Light position and orientation are still controlled in Revit by moving or rotating the fixture instance; Lite updates in real time with the sync.
Revit lights can move into D5 Render via Live Sync for further refinement.
