D5 Render offers multiple intuitive tools that help you effortlessly create lifelike environments and preview your architectural designs under various weather conditions.
*D5 Studio is a cloud workspace where you can save the environment, effect, brush, path, and scatter settings after adjusting them as you like.
We prepare a dozen ready-to-go environmental presets in the D5 Curated section.
Double-click to download and apply your desired preset. The scene instantly comes to life.
D5 has a built-in AI feature to automatically generate sky, weather, and post-production effects from reference images.
Simply choose a reference image to integrate its environmental settings into your current view.
Both AI-generated or preset environment settings can be adjusted to improve outcomes.
D5 Render supports both HDR and Geo and Sky for natural lighting.
Watch this tutorial for realistic natural lighting:
You can choose an HDRI from our library or import your own HDRI background.
Skylight intensity defines the brightness of the light emitted by the HDRI.
Background intensity determines the brightness of the HDRI background itself. It has a remarkable influence on the water reflection in this project.
Rotate the HDRI to an appropriate angle to create beautiful lighting and reflections.
Temperature influences the color tone of the sky light/background/both.
The 'Custom Sun' option enhances sunlight when your HDRI doesn't have a pronounced sun. 'Sunlight Intensity' determines the brightness of the sunlight, and 'Sun Disk Radius' controls the softness of shadow edges.
You can also change the sun’s position by rotating the HDRI or adjusting the altitude/azimuth.
The weather panel enables you to easily adjust fog, wind, rain, snow, and cloud(only for Geo and Sky).
You can also select Geo and Sky to simulate local lighting conditions. Simply input the date and location as needed, and adjust the time to observe the lighting conditions throughout the day.
Turn on the "Cloud" feature and there'll be appealing reflections on the water surface.
D5 provides professional post-production effects including exposure, contrast, slope, shadow, among others.
