# Best Practices

The secret to a successful multi-editor workflow lies in **upfront division of labor**. The lead designer should determine how to divide the project before team members dive into production. Below are several highly recommended ways to split worksets:

<table data-search="false"><thead><tr><th>Workflow Type</th><th>Workset A</th><th>Workset B</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Architecture + Landscape</strong></td><td>Main architectural structures/building models</td><td>Landscaping, greenery, roads, and terrain</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Hardcore Interior + Soft Furnishings</strong></td><td>Interior architectural shell, walls, built-ins</td><td>Soft furnishings and decor</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Scene + Environment</strong></td><td>Full 3D scene setup</td><td>Environment adjustment and lighting</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Scene + Animation</strong></td><td>Full 3D scene setup</td><td>Camera movement and keyframe animation</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Divided by Plot</strong></td><td>Zone A buildings</td><td>Zone B buildings</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Divided by DCC Tool</strong></td><td>SketchUp modeling part</td><td>Rhino/Blender modeling part</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Rendering Distribution</strong></td><td>Render queue A</td><td>Render queue B</td></tr></tbody></table>

**Tip:** By distributing render tasks across worksets, multiple computers can simultaneously render the same project, doubling efficiency while ensuring scene consistency.
