# How to use seasonal plants?

The **Seasonal Vegetation** function allows plant creators to automatically **display different leaf colors and foliage states in response to seasonal changes, more realistically simulating the effects of the natural environment throughout the year.** Designers do not need to manually replace plant models for different seasons; they only need to adjust the date parameter to quickly preview the vegetation performance of spring, summer, autumn, and winter in the same scene.

#### **Applicable Scenarios**

* Landscape and planning designs that need to showcase seasonal changes, architectural plan presentations comparing the atmospheres of different seasons, and commercial visualization projects emphasizing the authenticity of the natural environment

#### **Global Seasonal Vegetation Settings**

Added a new "**Seasonal Vegetation"** setting item in Environment → Weather, used for global control of all plant creatives in the scene that support seasonal vegetation changes:

* After enabling, you can set the number of days (value range: 1 - 365), which is used to define the date position within a year
* The system will automatically calculate the seasonal state of plants based on the current date
* Days corresponding to seasons: 1\~135 Spring / 136\~213 Summer / 214\~270 Autumn / 271\~365 Winter

#### **Per-Model Seasonal Settings**

After selecting a single plant that supports seasonal changes, you can independently set the following in the property panel of the right sidebar:

* **State:** Determine the current seasonal effect of the plant based on the number of days passed
* **Color (Spring Color, Summer Color, Autumn Color, Winter Color):** Adjust the color performance of plants in each season separately
* **Following Global Settings:** When checked, the number of days and seasonal effects of this plant will be based on the global seasonal days set in Environment → Weather

#### **Creatives Library Filtering**

* A new filter option, "**Seasonal**," has been added to the online creative library, allowing users to quickly filter out all plant creatives that support seasonal changes

#### **Precautions**

* Seasonal settings are automatically linked for plants of the same type within the same scatter batch.
* Batch editing and multi-selection of seasonal parameters are **not currently supported**.
